Applicability
These Rental Conditions apply to all agreements between Auto Huren op Curaçao (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “Auto Huren op Curaçao”) and the renter (hereinafter referred to as “the renter”). By making a reservation or using our services, the renter agrees to these conditions.

Rental Conditions
• Minimum rental period: The minimum duration of a rental period is four days.
• Included in the rental price: The rental price includes VAT, all-risk insurance, 24/7 service, one additional driver and unlimited kilometers.
• Excluded in the rental price: Fuel costs are not included. If the car is returned with less fuel than it was delivered with, fuel costs plus a surcharge of 25 Naf will be charged.
• Delivery and return of the car: The car will be delivered near the airport or at the renter's residence (maximum up to Coral Estate/Villa Park Fontein). If necessary, Auto Huren op Curaçao may request delivery or return to the office, after which the renter will be returned.
• Airport delivery: Delivery to the airport is possible, provided that the flight lands before 6:00 PM. If you arrive after 6:00 PM, the car will be delivered the next morning. Return to the airport is possible until 7:00 PM.
• Evening rate: After 5:00 PM, a surcharge of €12.50 per evening will be charged for delivery or return of the car.
• Additional costs for certain locations: Additional costs may apply for delivery or return of the rental car at locations west of the airport.
• Reservation time: The reservation time is an indication; Car Rental in Curacao will make a schedule based on this indication.

Required documents for rental
When picking up the rental car, the main driver must bring the following documents:
• A valid driver's license that has been in possession for at least one year.
• Double identification is required for the main driver; For any additional drivers, a driver's license is sufficient.
All drivers must be present when picking up the rental car and show a valid, original driver's license.
• Drivers without a registered driver's license are not insured and are not allowed to drive the car.

Age and driving experience
The renter must have held a valid driver's license (type B) for at least one year.
The minimum age for the renter is 19 years.

Use of the rental car
It is prohibited to use the rental car for:
• Illegal activities.
• Giving driving lessons.
• Pushing or pulling other vehicles or trailers.
• Participation in car races or rallies.
• Use by a driver without a valid driver's license.
• Use on unpaved roads (such as Shete Boka, San Juan and the Hato plains).
• Visit to the park around Christoffelberg.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Smoking in the vehicle.

Liability and insurance
• The renter is obliged to handle the rental car with care.
• The renter is liable for fines and costs resulting from the use of the car.
• The car must be parked in a closed area between 22:00 and 06:00.
• The car must be returned clean and locked. Costs for cleaning or loss of keys are for the account of the renter.

Maintenance and refueling
• The renter is responsible for refueling with the correct fuel.
• Maintenance costs are carried out and paid by Auto Huren op Curaçao.

Damage, loss and accidents
• Damage, loss or confiscation of the vehicle must be reported immediately to Auto Huren op Curaçao.
• The renter is obliged to contact us immediately in the event of an accident and not to move the vehicle.

Insurance
• The rental car is insured on the basis of an All-Risk insurance.
• The insurance only applies if the conditions are fully met.

Termination of the rental agreement
Auto Huren op Curaçao is entitled to terminate the rental agreement if the renter does not comply with the conditions holds.

Payment
• A deposit of €75 is required upon booking and is non-refundable.
• The remaining amount must be paid at the start of the rental period.
• A 5% administration fee will be charged for credit card payments.
